Trusting and staying calm

Trust is such a difficult feat.  How do we trust?

How do we stay calm during a storm? Amidst crisis?

It isn't about wishing for world peace or wishing for absence of hate and war...

It is about staying calm in the storm and how we can have peace and be at peace despite problems.

Well how do we do that?

Know God is there for us.  God is fighting for us.  God protects us.

We need to put all of our faith in God and God will reciprocate as well.

H O P E is something that needs to be in us.  Never lose H O P E. Ever.

It is like meditation and be aware of our breath.  The moment we feel ourselves stiffen with anxiety we need to let it go and surrender to God.

"I'm so anxious and my body hurts from all this anxiety!!"

That is the first step of awareness.  Good, you know you are anxious.  Now, take a deep breath in... and hold it for as long as possible.

Then when it is time to exhale, do so V E R Y  S L O W L Y and as we exhale tell ourselves that God is taking our anxiety and our problems so we can romp like a small child and be free of worry.

Stay calm in the storm because God is there to handle it.

Why Do We Lament Instead Of Live?

When there is something we know we did wrong we tend to want a do-over.  This begins the lamenting process.

If we yearn to be with our long lost love we tend to lament the past when we were once together and try re-piecing the mistake together the way we want...  but instead of lamenting the past why not be in the present for the future and just be with the long lost love - when we rediscover each other again?

Lamenting is an advanced worry.

Worrying does absolutely nothing productive; it only wastes our current moments from our already shortened life.

Let us learn to act in the moment and to be more proactive.

Lamenting is worse than  regretting, because it is a mental vacuum that sucks all the life out of our heart and soul in which we become despondent and depressed.
