Honestly I haven't officially started yet. HINT: Make every word count. Count all the words that you write...
The essence of Nanowrimo is to write as many words as possible within the month of November. You can join groups online or within the community to help motivate you to stay on track and continue the momentum. You are only in competition with yourself.
Your ultimate goal is to beat your previous record from the year prior (if you've done it before).
You can Google the Nanowrimo website and sign up for an account. From the website you can begin to network with other writers within your own community.
