Simply Living

Money and material possessions are the two significant highlights of most people's life. Is this what life is truly about? Is it really about status symbols and what the Jones' have next door?

Some would argue and say, 'what is life without all the bells and whistles.' It's all about Mercedes and BMW's and the latest computer gadget.

But who are they really without all those things? Are we giving up our true selves for what's in our wallet? Have we sold our souls to society?

So, then what's life about then?

Living without debt. Paying for your life freely and simply. Having an extra $20 in your wallet for a week and not having to spend it. Have you just kept a $20 in your wallet for a week without touching it?
Do something that does not require money. Libraries, museums, art shows, antique festivals, bike rides, hikes, walking, meditating...are you getting the picture?
I'm not saying to not have an iPod. I love my iPod and I love using my cell phone. But do I have it run my life? No!

I love my computer. I love techie things. Technology is a part of this age...but it does not have to run our minds and our life! Money does not have to be a constant usage.
