We brave the world everyday, by working and relating to others - whether we want to or not. When you walk into a store, you speak to at least two people. You engage yourself in social dynamics all the time.
By the end of the day, you feel a bit stressed and even a bit tense...
What do you do about it? That's the key.
Unwinding from a day's stimulation is the key to true overall health. Some people tip the bottle, grab a smoke, gamble, shop, overeat - you name it. Some people over exercise. (Yes, it is possible!) Come on people, we live in an addictive society!
So, then how does someone unwind without any of those methods? Find a center of balance within yourself. Go to a place where you feel peaceful. You may drive to the lakeside after work, sit on your bed and shut your eyes, sit on your porch and take in a deep breath - there is a place for everyone.
While you are visiting your tranquil spot, concentrate on your breath for 10 minutes. Listen to yourself inhale and exhale...
You owe yourself 10 minutes a day to do this FREE thing. It's totally free, and it's totally worth your body and your life.
No one can ever take away your spot either. Only you can go there, and only you know where it is that makes you breathe deep - naturally.
Go there.
Breathe.
